FOX HARTFORD TO ADD MORNING NEWS

61 really should. All that they air from 6-9AM is infomercials. As a matter of fact, that's all any secondary CT station (WTXX, WTIC and WCTX) airs is infomercials besides WCTX's 7AM news hour and WTXX's one half hour of E/I programming. I remember when these channels would air re-runs of sitcoms or kids programming. Why not do that today?
 
Many Fox affiliates (particularly the O&O's) are also adding a 5pm newscast.
You would think a solid owner like Tribune would invest in Hartford a little more. I think an AM and evening newscast is a good idea.
