Fox homers with final Series game

No other network even came close to Fox Wednesday night as the Boston Red Sox defeated the St. Louis Cardinals in the contest’s 6th game. (Too bad for Fox there won’t be a 7th!). I actually think that because tonight (October 31st) is Halloween that Game 7 viewing numbers would probably have been a little below those of Game 6.

A lot of people go out on Halloween, and with no Game 7 of the World Series, tonight may set a mark for the fewest number of people to watch prime-time TV (combining broadcast and cable) on a Thursday night in October since the late 1950's.
