With ratings higher than expected, they likely did very well, as expected.
While under-performing shows may result in a rate rebate, over-performers don't generally get higher post-broadcast rate adjustments.
Why would Fox lose anything? The show outperformed, meaning that they captured the full rate they sold for.
Isn't Fox paying for the full season, not on a race basis. Don't they make most of their money with Daytona?
