Any thoughts on this? Looks to me like the first step in transitioning Fox content other than news to a paid platform with an eye toward eventually making the cable channel all-news. Scroll through the site including the Q&A at the bottom and see if you don't get that vibe.

The upshot is you have a battle between the journalists and the pundits. The audience is mainly tuning in for the pundits. But if you watch the afternoon shows, you're likely to hear a lot of stories critical of the president. So it makes sense to take that chunk of pundit talk and give it its own platform. Would it be paid? Why not? People will pay for something they're passionate about. But with all of the new ways to watch TV, thanks to Amazon Fire, Roku, or Apple TV, the content creators are looking for new and different ways to monetize their popular content.
