Fox News Radio - I listened

Well... I listened to the 7PM PT cast online this evening. It was anchored by Lisa Brady.

The newscast went off without a hitch, and actually sounded pretty good, though the editing on some of the TV -> radio packages could have been better.

Of course, I had already pointed out on this board that Lisa Brady is radio only talent and she sounds real good. I'll try and give a listen to some TV talent anchoring tomorrow and post a report.

Also, during the second block, I thought I heard a report signed off as "In Washington Mike Majchrowitz Fox News Radio." Mike has been a Washington based correspondant for Cox for a few years now. His reports have always been really good for TV (provided to Cox affiliates) . I hope that he is indeed now working full time for FNR.

As noted, FNR has roughly three or four solid radio types working there. Ms. Brady, Lisa Carton (a Bay Area radio vet), the guy in evenings ET whose name escapes me, and Rich Johnson (long-time radio news guy, mostly does field reporting for FNR from what I've heard).

These people aren't the network's problem. It's just about everyone else. :D
