Ah. Saw the shot of the transmitter in the news piece.

Ramsey FM 100. Very nice. Running at 25 milliwatts and what appears to be maybe 30-40 feet based on the picture outside the house?

Hello, Yes the tower is a new addition for safty training the kids how to setup a tower once a week. The antenna gets taken off of the 10ft pole and attached to the tower once a week. The range is increased to about 1 mile @ 35ft on a good car radio.

And I am sure what you really meant to say was: "What tower, what external antenna?? No we are running a 100% compliant Part 15 station using the built in whip antenna on the transmitter. Yep, 100% legal, cant hear us beyond the back yard." :D
 
Yes Thats what we meant, Thanks for the clarification Nostalgia! mock antenna, not connected, for safty and training setup only! Range would be increased to about 1 mile if connected.
