Fox "quick word" ads on Series. Love it!

I like Fox breaking for a "quick word" from a sponsor, usually lasting just 10-15 seconds during the World Series. Perhaps this is not new, but I don't recall it recently. In fact it harkens back to the old days of tv. I like the concept as the average viewer will be conditioned to understand a "quick word" is very short, as opposed to a tune-out. Pretty genius stuff.
 
They'll also do a "semi-spot," which is a split screen, with the Duracell spot on the right, and the game in a box on the left. Lots of interesting sponsorship opportunities.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the very loud F**K from McCann after he struck out in the 2nd inning. It was as clear as if he was in the booth. Whoops! That's what they call a fleeting expletive.

I've been able to hear the umpire all night. Must be a mic near him.

My local Fox O&O has been doing that for a few years. I guess that Fox Major decided to see how it would work nationally.
