I'm predicting a 360 and the return of COPS, followed by some more Simpsons.
It is baffling to me that Fox canceled MadTV without better replacement programming in mind. They used to be somewhat competitive in this slot. Even more puzzling is the expensive sports programming in Saturday prime when COPS and AMW got better ratings and didn't cause overruns for late night. That sports programming competes against their newly-minted national sports network Fox Sports 1 too. So they have killed late night Saturday, ruined their dominance in prime Saturday and hurt their sports network. How is this a strategy for success?
