What are everyone's thoughts on this show so far? I enjoy it for the most part but a lot of growing pains to say the least. Hawkins is horrible at defending his position when someone disagrees with him, I have to change the channel usually during those sort of uncomfortable moments. The "I played the game...." rhetoric is so tired, come on man. Does not matter if you played the game if you can't support arguments with logical points and analogies. Today he asked a renowned NCAA expert if Xavier has a chance tonight? That is like a local yokel calling a show and saying "what about this trade". Andy does a respectable job which I expected. If Hawkins can get over the hump on a few things I think this show has potential as I do find it entertaining. I find the Barry White the concept to be funny, they need to work on how to use it properly though as it has sounded a little forced at times. Any thoughts?
 
You said that about the last 5 shows in that slot and 3 other hosts who have been fired or let go? I listen to Colin, JT, Rome, DP and Chris Russo. You listen to guys who get fired or want those guys jobs. Colin is King! War ROME on CBS!
 
More uncomfortable radio this morning, so much so I changed it again. Andy said something about tying less African Americans in baseball to less fathers in the homes. I don't even want to touch that but Artrell was just awful in trying to respond, he is incapable of making a point in a debate. Just incapable. His comeback analogy to Andy was something like that is like saying there are less whites in the NBA because they did not have fathers playing basketball with them. Huh?? I had to move the dial. Obviously Andy was being inflammatory but come on, put together a good listenable radio show.
 
Thank goodness this is America and we have the right to change the deal and not listen to garbage.
 
Didn't the sidekick say there wasn't enough HipHop culture associated with Baseball to bring in the aforementioned Group. Seriously, who cares. If it ain't Football, it don't matter.
