Fox Sports on WKNR?

(also hinted at in Ohio Media Watch)
J.T. the Brick on Fox Sports Radio has hinted that he had "good news for Cleveland" and that "on Monday we'll have an annoucement that we're going on in a big sports town", etc. Once I heard 'KNR was parting ways with
ESPN I figured they'd pick up FSR.

For those in Cleveland who haven't heard FSR you will find some shows are can't miss shows. Mainly overnights on the weekend. Ben Maller is a great host who will make the weekend overnite hours go by quickly. If WKNR picks up their M-F morning show - The First Team on Fox with Steve Czaban is a pretty good morning listen. Less chatty and more of an easy listen than Mike and Mike in the Morning. Andrew Sicilliano does the evening show from 7-10. He's a Tribe fan and during his show he doesn't hold back his feelings towards the Indians when they find themselves behind in a game. Jim Brown appears on a frequent basis on Gametime React with JT the Brick.

JT The Brick did announce tonight that 'KNR will join FSR on Monday, and he did mention the regular Jim
Brown chats, etc. He complimented 'KNR staff and also the dedicated fans in Cleveland.
JT's show can be pretty good (it was fun tonight for me,as a Red Sox fan, to hear JT bellyaching about
those $200 million dollar Yankees) as well as Jorge Sedano, just afterwards.

By all means, avoid listening to J.T. the Brick unless you want your intelligence insulted. Another irritating, "New Yoik" accented Yankees homer who managed to get a national radio gig because he was friends with Jim Rome. His entire schtick is ripped off from Sporting News' Arnie Spanier and much like Greg Brinda, he spends too much time taking calls and not enough time with guests.

Steve Czaban would be all right if he actually talked about sports. Instead he spends most of his time telling us to support the troops.

I really wish WKNR would have run Rome on tape delay and carried The Dan Patrick Show. Clevelanders really had no idea what they were missing. Dan is probably the best guy in sports talk radio right now and all sports talk hosts should take their cue from him.
