FOX Sports Radio

"Fox Sports Radio" is much more Entertaining, they have much more Listenner interaction than "ESPN Radio"
At the current moment you can hear "Fox Sports Radio" Overnights/Weekend Nights/Overnights on WVEI 105.5 (Springfield, Ma area)
Depending on your taste. If you like Only Interviews/News, and very little Listenner Interaction, stick with "ESPN Radio".
If you like more Listenner Interaction/Entertainment, check out the new 1410am

Hope you enjoy all?

And if you got an HD radio you can hear them on WTIC-FM HD-3 which relays WBZ-FM Sports Hub from Boston. FSN is on after 5p on the weekends (if there's no Bruins or Pats games) and overnights.

If you like the Miami Heat, New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, New York Jets or Tiger Woods....you'll love ESPN Radio. That's all they talk about. If you like the Dodgers, Angels, Lakers or USC.....you'll love FOX Sports Radio. If you like anything else in the world of Sports.....you're SOL

ESPN Radio is okay, as a product it is head and shoulders about it's 2 other national counterpats. FSR (which is Fox Sports in name only) is great if you like male leaning jock talk, ESPN does get annoying because they tend to have only ESPN guys on. Yahoo is really nice as a national alternative to ESPN if you like sports talk and want to hear an opinion that isn't filtered by the worldwide leader.

Leebo the show you talk about is and has been the most successful show on that Network. That must kill you? Still trying to find work for your friends who cant keep a job and stay on the air? Listen to JT and Looney and you will be amazed by their show. It might be too good for your loser ears?

JT and Looney are truly amazing. They have actually put me to sleep when I'm suffering from renal colic from a kidney stone.

Aside from JT, Ben Maller and the occasional fill-in from John Fricke, FSR doesn't any real compelling personalities. It was much better under the late Andrew Ashwood's direction.

You are correct, FSR will never be ESPN. They definitely should add more personalities and brand themselves in the direction of more personality driven Sports Radio! At least they would be a more entertaining network to listen to!

I hear too much personality on FOX or should I say "guy talk". It kind of reminds me of the failed FREE FM stations. ESPN has serious discussions about sports and the current games. FOX often goes way off topic.

I tried to listen to FOX sports today. These were the first (and last) three words I heard ..."Clint Eastwood Brah". That's what's wrong with FOX. There is NBA and NHL playoffs and a full slate of MLB. Instead they talk about Clint Eastwood. Plus I don't like guys who say "bro" or "brah" whether it's on the radio or (especially) IRL. Guys that use those words are questing for dominance and are unpleasent to listen to or be around.

Fox Sports Radio has always perplexed me, because they are clearly aiming to entertain and be welcoming to the casual sports fan, yet they are owned by Clear Channel, who for the most part doesn't do FM sports. It seems like that is what Fox Sports Radio was made for.

There's already plenty of sports talk available, in our area, at least. ESPN is on FM AND on AM, and on tv and the .com they are always promoting.
The details of the games, before, during, and after the games, only means something to the people who are going to be watching the game. I'm not that into the details, really. Byt the time I remember what defense the Bears need to play against the Ravens, the game is over, and I really had no control over it anyway. It's just 24/7 sports team advertising, to me.

So I like that FSR is not trying to copy ESPN. There's already enough of that. I don't hear FSR enough to make any kind of judgments about how they carry it off, but I like the idea...
