fox sports radio

now we all know wtkk has our attention right now, But any word on fox sports status here in Boston?? I know we never got to hear it here too much anyhow but would be nice to know where JT's big mouth will be next!!

I'm not sure if they stream, but WPOP-AM 1410 of Hartford (owned by Clear Channel) is a FSR affiliate.

I wish some sports station would put something good on between 10 AM and 2 PM.

1200am should put it on, now that we lost it. Or even WEEI FM 93.7, they should look into putting them back on the overnights

Is he Funny? Does he know any good jokes?
well, guess you didn't like "Fox Sports Radio" Why Did The Chicken Cross the Road? :D To get to the other side ;D :D

People who want Fox Sports radio around here may have to settle for listening online, on a smartphone (Tune In etc.), or maybe on XM/Sirius. I think it's on there (though supposedly
_Fox News Talk_ got dropped by XM but not Sirius). There may be some Fox Sports Radio
affiliates here in New England but they may be a bit far away to pick up here (and some
may have dropped it for CBS Sports, etc.; as it is, some stations might only do it part time)

We had guessed WEEI could have put it on FM, and I thought Clear Channel could have
cleared it on 1200 but I figured they'd prob stay with comedy (a FIFTH sports talker in town?
Unless they REALLY wanted to clear shows and ads) with a switch to FSR as a distant
possibility. But no, still comedy. And I haven't heard anyone mention 93.7 picking it up..

Not a big Ferrall fan, eh?

10 AM, not PM... think he's saying he's not a fan of Gresh and Zolak or Mut and Lou.
I have no problem with Zolak or Merloni. It's Gresh and Muttnansky that I can't listen to. And oddly enough, it's for completely different reasons. Muttnansky comes across as a nerd trying to be one of the "cool kids". Gresh is just a loudmouthed bufoon. Unlike a lot of so-called jocks (Smerlas, Deossie, Wiggins, et al) Lou and Zo are really good.

Brother!....You've got this one so completely NAILED! Some bright guy (if there is such a person) at either WEEI or Sports Hub should try to poach one or the other....so that Lou and Zo could actually get paired up someplace.

The idea of a "Lou & Zo Show" is one I find rather interesting.

totally agree i do like Gresh but mutt can go somehow maybe a Lou and zo show would work. Since now there are more experienced handling there owns shows taking caller etc.

FSR is XM-only, due to the approximately 900 year contract between XM and CC.

Does CC own a translator they could toss FSR on? Or HD-2 (for those 7 with an HD radio)?

Here is what my Sports Hub line-up would be;
6am - Toucher and Rich
9am - Gresh and Zolack
12pm - Jim Rome
3pm - Felgar and Massarotti
6pm - Adam Jones
11pm - Farrell on the Bench
2am - The D.A. Show
Weei Radio Network:
6am - Dennis and Callahan
9am - Mutt and Murlony
12pm - Moor Sports
3pm - The Big Show
6pm - Planet Mikey
11pm - Fox Sports Tonight
1am - J.T. the Brick with Tom Looney

I don't know if 98.5 would go syndie in the middle of the day with Rome...like what WEEI did when,
IIRC, they had the Fabulous Sports Babe late mornings.

Moor Sports (or do your mean Mohr?), again syndie for EEI midday?Don't think they would.
(I do note btw in another thread Bobby ha-HAAA! Valentine signed by NBC and wonder if he'll
be on 1510...
Would ESPN allow them to affiliate with Fox on the FM? (I don't know about contracts...)
