FOX Sports Regional Networks

Noticed while watching a baseball game on MLB Extra Innings which was from FOX Sports North that they leave the bottom ticker up during the whole game. Figure they would only put it up once in awhile as NESN, Comcast SN's, etc do. Now I see why ESPN leaves the bottom ticker up because their national. But don't understand why the local FSN would leave the ticker up which im sure all the FOX Sports do.
 
If I want to know what my rivals' scores are, I'll look them up on my Android app. I'd rather all of them take those stupid crawls down. News networks as well.
 
Too much text gets distracting - and annoying.

I do want the game status info at the top of the screen. My team resisted adding it. I got to like it on national broadcasts and miss it on local broadcasts. When I watch baseball, I don't always pay close attention every minute. Sometimes I read, or talk to people while the game is on. It's nice to be able to look up and know exactly "where I am" in the game.

I am glad the networks have stopped cutting into programs for bulletins and now just make do with crawls. It's annoying but it's better than missing part of the story.

Now, if they could just get rid of those EAS alerts.
