Fox To Cancel "The Wanda Sykes Show"

After a promising start, before suffering from ratings that fell below the average of its Saturday night predecessor, "Mad TV," Fox plans to cancel "The Wanda Sykes Show" after one season. Its eventual replacement could be a sketch comedy show starring "Saturday Night Live" alum Dana Carvey.

Better yet, turn that time over to the affiliates.

Sykes is funnier than some of the so-called talk show hosts on TV today, but cancelling her show is no big loss as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah the show was not that funny. Mad TV was better. Fox dropped the ball on Conan. They could have put him on 6 nights a week. Saturday could of been a "best of show" from during the week and I bet the ratings would have been decent. Oh well. You snooze, you lose.

Oh man, Wanda's show was just a replica of Chelsea Lately but on FOX.
They should have kept Talk Show with Spike Feresten but the new pilot with Spike and Dana Carvey sounds promising.

I agree. Maybe it will bring back the Horror Movie TV Hosts like in yesteryears but probably would turn into infomercials.
