I really wasn't looking for any particular kind of reaction really, and you are right their was only one way for the station to go. As for the bryan promos, I have been trying to get those pulled for a while and they keep showing up for whatever reason. We can't get rid of Bryan unless one of you guys are up to do some weather. As for Jim and tech....well he is a big part of Tech so it is almost expected.

Why don't u have AccuWeather Call-in and do it, like we used to do in the old days? Just call them and have one of their meteorolgists record it. Assuming you guys still have a contract with AccuWeather?

That's how I used to do the weather...

I had asked a while back if that was a possibility and I was told no. It would be nice to do that so when Bryan is out we will have some kind of back up. We won't get him completely off the air untill he is no longer here because our station is FOX and they want it to be completely tied in with 34 and so that is why he does it full time.....sorta.....sometimes.....

Then he needs to leave THAT job at the door when he walks in to 98th and University. All respect to the univesity, but there is far more to this area than TTU. Like when Wendy was on and I referred to the show as "Good Morning Lakeridge" now it's "The HEELLLLOOOOOO RED RAIDER Show...with JIM! (whisper) chis and holly."

I don't know why anyone would tell you that it can't be done, unless AccuWeather is getting paid some extra amount. But considering they already to the Weather for 34 whenever Bryan can't do that job, I don't see why they can't provide back-up for 950 like they used to.

Here's what we used to do...
We would have AccuWeather call us in the studio about 3 times a day (or it may have been two). They would do weather over the phone once in the morning, and one for the afternoon, then I would record it and dump it into the system. Sometimes, I would just put it on the 360, and play it back live.

But, Bryan still did the weather. I would use the AccuWeather as a the back up, so that if Bryan couldn't do it, I still had it. Some time afer I left they stopped doing it, I'm not sure when or why.

You should be able to set it up.
Again, assuming that there isn't some extra fee or contract involved.

Well I had asked Chuck a while back while he was still the GM and he is the one that said no, for whatever reason. Im sure it does have something to do with the ammount that we pay them. If we could have them do that, it would be great and easy as hell, but only when Bryan cant do it for whatever reason.....which with him their is no telling what the excuse may be.

SO damn true Ron.

I remember when Wendy complained on the air that the Lakeridge pool was closed and she had to go to a <GASP> public POOL.

That's what you get when you're married to Run for the Hills Ron.
