FOXY 95.5 ST.LOUIS....."OLD SCHOOL"?

Radio One's Urban AC FOXY 95.5 has registired some new domains (AllNewsSTL.com, AllSports955.com, AllSportsSTL.com, HipHop955.com, HipHopSTL.com, NewMagic955.com, NewMagicSTL.com, NewsWatch955.com, NewsWatchSTL.com, OldSchool955.com, OldSchool955.net, OldSchoolSTL.com, and OldSchoolSTL.net).

More than likely, OLD SCHOOL 95.5 will be the new format! Dallas and Charlotte's RadioOne Urban AC stations have transitioned into the "OLD SCHOOL" branding.

The flip took place last night at 7pm. Final song on Foxy Urban AC format was "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday" by Boyz II Men. Tom Joyner remains in the morning drive. Michael Baisden afternoon show is gone. Simialr to KSOC in Dallas. Radio One is making moves again. Kinda funny they made the flip to Urban Oldies the same day Majic moves to another signal.

Just hope they kept Chaz Saunders, one of my all-time favorite DJs!

I doubt WRNB will flip. It's the highest rated station in the Radio One Philly cluster. WFUN, KSOC and WNOW (now its WOSF) had low ratings as Urban AC's so a change was needed to Urban Oldies. Putting Urban Oldies on 107.9 in Philly wont make sense. It will overlap with WRNB format. Remeber WDAS AM is Urban Oldies.
