Françoise Hardy

She died on June 11th from cancer. Her songs received AirPlay on Canadian radio stations.

Major star in Europe. She cited Radio Luxembourg as being an influence in her singing career.
She also got lots of airplay in South America, where pop / Top 40 stations or pop music shows generally played hits in French, Italian and English as well as Spanish.

I played a lot of her songs in Ecuador on my Top 40 stations in the later 60's and they were big request-line hits.
Her iconic “gold-plated dress” was quite eye-catching.😆😍
Yep!!!!!
