And what's with Citadel making all these DJs talk show hosts? I remember Franco as a DJ on Channel 107.7 and later on Q-105. And now Lee Elci from The Wolf? Strange.

Yeah, I'd have to agree it's strange. My only guess is that as the DJ's get older, the company thinks they are getting too old to relate to their audience. Maybe they still have a contract left and they are moving them around so they don't breakthat contract...

According to the New London Day, Franco was fired for using a parody bit from a prep service that mentioned the CEO of Hooters going "t--s up." The Day wrote an article about raunchy morning hosts, that bit was mentioned, so he brought it to the GM to cover himself. Two days later, he was canned.
