Frank Berry: September 11 2023.

Such sad news.
In talking today with his family, I realized even more how deeply he loved radio. His dedication to this board reflected his wish for both radio "fans" and "pros" to come together and learn from each other and share news, information and some good old gossip about broadcasting.
He succeeded where many others have failed. Through this board, Dr. Berry has formed a community that encompasses all aspects of broadcasting. I've learned much from this site. Thank you, Frank.

How sad. Frank will be sorely missed. It seemed like the treatments were making progress, but cancer is not often cooperative.
Given his dedication to radio and this site, I trust Frank is still reading the topics and posts. Rest peacefully Frank.

RIP Frank and THANK YOU for your passion to radio on this board. I'm so glad that he was here to share his viewpoints and stories on the radio industry for so many years, and he will be forever missed.

Cancer sucks.
Condolences to his family and friends in MI, along with our own David Gleason.

This is the most startling news I've heard since Karen Carpenter 40 years ago! To his many friends and family, keep the memories.

How incredibly sad. May his family and friends find comfort and healing in time, and all those who didn’t know him personally but knew of this passion project of his continue to engage in conversations as he envisioned.

My heart sank when I saw this news. I, along with everyone else on here, was really rooting for Frank to win this battle. My heart is broken for all who knew and loved him. He will be sorely missed. R.I.P.

Thank you Frank for sharing your passion for radio with all of us, and for his dedication to helping provide this platform for us radio nerds to share our passion too. Godspeed.

I'm so terribly sorry to hear this sad news of Frank's passing. He was a tremendously important and influential role model to so many. His contributions to this board and to the broadcasting industry are immense. My heartfelt sympathy and condolences to Frank's family. And thank you David, for all you do to make this message board one of the very best on the web. - Daryl

Frank devoted so much time and energy to this place. His absence will be very dearly felt, yet so too will his spirit. Thinking of his family and friends.
