Frank Berry: September 11 2023.

It feels odd to sit here, heartbroken over the loss of a person I never met and with whom I have had very little interaction. But when there were interactions, it was obvious what a very nice person Frank was. And you can't help but appreciate all the work he put in to build this community for all of us. I'm sure this site is but a small part of his legacy, but I'm glad that it will keep going, as per Frank's wishes.

Just saw this thread and wanted to express my sorrow. Though I may not be a frequent contributor, I’ve always appreciated RadioDiscussions.com and the dedication poured into this place by Frank as well as David. May God bless Frank’s family at this time. And many thanks to David E for his ongoing efforts to keep these forums and this community alive. Best to one and all!

This is why I so rarely check this board. This is so sad; I really liked Frank. A lot. Gentle soul, gentle man and gentleman. Good that David Eduardo came along when he did.

This is sad news. I just found this out as I don't frequent the boards often. He was a great moderator and this radio board will forever be his legacy. He will be missed greatly. Rest in Peace Frank.

Not to mean any disrespect for Frank (RIP), but a number of posts in this thread refer to his having "revived" the board after the fiasco created nearly two decades ago by Doug Fleming's passing and the resultant demise of Radio-Info.

IIRC, Radio Discussions was part of Streamline Media (publishers of Radio Ink) and they subsequently sold it to Frank.

Lance, can you clarify the timeline?
