Frank Camacho has Cancer

Man, just caught the tail end of this story on Fridays newscast. Frank has allowed TV3 to chronicle this dreadful battle. Damn.

This is a very touchy subject. My Dad died of cancer 5 years ago and I'm still very sensitive about the topic of cancer.

Initially, I thought that the commercial advertising the "chronicling" of his story was tasteless. On the other hand, if this story can help anyone deal with a family member with cancer, it will be beneficial.

My sincerest thoughts and prayers are with Frank and his family. I hope he can pull through this.
Edited by formeraa on 01/30/06 04:04 AM.

Amen.

Frank has talked about this on the air, and if attitude means anything, Frank will be back. And soon.

I don't know him personally but he seems like a great and sincere guy. My best wishes to him and his family. I do believe attitude and a fighting spirit are important and he has both.
