Sad news, Frank Camacho, former 3TV news anchor has passed away after a bout of cancer. He was 75. Frank was my favorite weekend news anchor on Phoenix TV.

Frank Camacho, one of the first Mexican-American TV journalists in Phoenix, has died. He was 75. Camacho also worked for the Arizona Democratic Party.

Frank was a total professional. He did an excellent job anchoring on the day of the Gabby Giffords shooting. He will be missed.
