any idea when Frank FM will get jocks or jockettes on the air? What are they waiting for? Can't they find anyone to work for $8 an hour and 60 hours a week?
Ok, I will make a comment.....or more.........I thought it would not happen but Frank is now the station I listen to the most, second is the Hawk on 97.5.Also.........Frank is not Classic Hits........it is Classic Rock all the way....much much better then 102.9 which to me is Classic Hits. At times I find 107.5 playing 'harder' stuff then 97.5.Another thing that bugs me is the station's focus on Berks County & Reading. What about all of us in Northern Chester and Montgomery Counties??? 107.5 is and has always been the strongest FM signal in our areas........Very strange that they target Reading and areas west of Reading. One more Item.........Frank, your RDS display went out and has been out for a couple of weeks now.
I heard artists like Doby Grey-Slip Away, War-Edwin Starr, Aquarius-Fifth Dimension and many other Urban Oldies, IMHO this is not a Hard Classic Rocker that really rocks, its just a watered down oldies station.
Sorry I disagree.........Frank is Classic Rock. I am now a frequent listener and have not heard, as of yet, the songs you listed. Just this am I heard the Edgar Winter Band, 38 special, Journey, ZZ Top, Led Zeplin and others who fit the Classic Rock format. (I listen off 'Business hours' maybe they are 'softer' during 'business hours' ???....just a thought)
real simple approach keep saying they are number one. buy some billboards. get a few advertisers. Nothing to not like about continuous music and nearly no commercials or djs to interupt. Hope for market share, then go after larger agencies and local customers once there are some ratings. DJ's maybe summer leading into fall book but not till spring book is over.
