Frank Pastore

Still "critical"---and condition "unchanged." Thanks for that link, Mister EJM. It's odd that four days after the accident, KKLA's website hasn't posted an update about Pastore's condition...but there's a request that cards and letters be sent to him at Box 29023, Glendale, CA 91209. Pastore had (and I hope will still have) a 4-to-6 pm show on KKLA. Kevin McCullough filled in for him on November 20 & 21, and Frank Sontag filled in on November 22 & 23. They spent almost every minute of all four shows discussing Pastore and taking calls from listeners.

Update on Frank from his wife's interview with The Christian Post: Still in a coma, but showing some positive signs. Talked about death on his show the day of the accident... http://www.christianpost.com/news/c...ife-talks-about-show-night-of-accident-85617/

I hope Mr. Pastore survives and regains his health. Perhaps this is obvious advice - but if you want to live to a ripe old age, don't ride motorcycles. I did for a couple of years in my reckless youth, but had too many near-death experiences to continue - usually because drivers of cars and trucks failed to see me.

Frank Sontag and Kevin McCullough have been doing the KKLA afternoon show until a permanent replacement for Pastore can be found. As a posthumous honor to Pastore, the KKLA studio is now officially known as The Frank Pastore Studio. You can see the webcast of his memorial service at http://www.kkla.com/FrankPastoreMemorial.aspx

I was sad to hear of his passing. :(

I was in Pasadena the week of Thanksgiving. It was the worst traffic I've ever seen.

I noticed the job posting on the job boards.
