Frank's Polka Friday kickoff

Friday 4/19 @ 5pm on 770 WKFB, Frank P will kick off his Friday night Polka Show. 14 Hours of fun. @ 7:15 he will move over to 620 WKHB, My Question can he be on both FM Translators at the same time (94.1 97.5 ) and when 770 signs off @ 8:00 can be stay on 97.5 ?

No, KHB and KFB will not simulcast at any time. At 7:15 p.m., Frank will move from 97.5/770 KFB to
94.1/620 KHB, and 97.5/770 will revert to its usual automated oldies format.

To Bad we lose 620 around 9:30 pm and can't Get 94.1 at All But 97.5 Loud and Clear. I Enjoy Listening to Frank.

I don't know where you live, but 94.1 has powered up and moved to its new location. You might want
to give it another try.

. I live where Beaver Butler and Allegheny counties meet. On the allegheny county side. And thank you I tuned in 94.1 it's loud and clear

Listening to Frank was Great @ 5am Saturday he Still Had the Energy he had @ Kick off 5pm Friday. 620 was Listenable on my CCrane Radio. But strong on 94.1. I Listened to 94.1 on my way to Work in Cranberry Good Signal Through Wexford Area, Was Walked on on rt.19 Leaving Wexford Flatts. Remembering the " Good Old Days " Driving to Work Listening to WZUM Morning Polka Party With " Polka Larry Allen". " Put That Hop in your Step".

Phil, Back then I was young, green, and clueless. But I did know that the Polka audience's are the most appreciative, dedicated radio listeners. The old Polish women were outside sweeping the sidewalk at 5:30 AM in anticipation of Jimmy Pol's Polka Party hitting the air at 6AM sign on. If that transmitter was a minute late the phone lines were all lit. I never solicited for payola but received dollars, baked goods, and hand made gifts many times in the mail. One morning Stash the sailor showed up at the Ewing Ave. studio in a yellow cab in full Naval uniform to deliver a leather hand made wallet with my initials. Still have it to this day. Phil thanks for the memories and informative posts. Larry

Polka question:

Sometime in the late 1970's or 1980's wasn't there a stand alone AM (daytimer?) station in Michigan that billed nenr six figures a month?
