Rest of Colorado Fraser Valley Community Radio

Fraser Valley Community Radio, the licensee of KFFR in Winter Park, Grand County west of Boulder, has apparently begun to move on its application for a second station, licensed to Fraser, where the organization is based. The CP was granted two years ago; this week, it requested the call letters KWTR. The new station, on 89.1, would have coverage equivalent to KFFR on 88.3. This is an interesting move by a community broadcaster; usually such broadcasters have enough challenges keeping one signal going. The expansion to 89.1 is mentioned in FVCR's 2023 annual report.

Note that both are/will be full-power (class C3) stations.
