So.... the greatest radio talent ever to come from Atlanta spoke tonight at the big Susquehanna goodbye party. Yes, I'm talking about "FRED TOUCHER!" This dumb ass had the audacity to claim that "HE" was the best radio talent in Atlanta. WTF? Even though perceptuals say that he was "Disliked" by the majority of Atlantans. Good luck Fred! I have never met a guy with more radio ego than you. I hope you fail!

I can honestly say I've rarely seen Fred Toucher out in public where he's not slobbering drunk. I was also at the party last night. Toucher grabbed the mic and, not being content with a little humility and grace, made sure everyone knew he was going to WBCN in Boston!! Woooo Hoooo!!! Crash also got up on mic no less than five times. All that aside, it was a warm, classy event filled with great memories and good feelings for a station that at once was one of the most important in radio.

I'm just curious... were any of the "older" Susquahanna people there? People from WLTA FM, WARM 100, etc. I wanted to go but couldn't get away. Hate to see the pottery company getting out of radio. They had some really good RADIO people go thru. Nancy Vaeth is one of the best, hope she ends up somewhere good.Joe

He hasn't earned the right to be compared with ANY of the talent you mentioned.Larry Wachs <--- hated. Yeah, you're right, maybe he does need to be compared with hated hacks. And how am I stuck in the middle of the road? I don't get the analogy. Great talents don't need to boast about their skills. Especially on a day that 16 of your former colleagues were fired. Just classless...sarcasm or not.
