Over the last week or so, WKND in Windsor, has been running promos to announce the fact they are offering free ads on their air, and as last night, WLAT (in English) is offering the same deal. Gimmick or signs of a desperate ownership (Gois) looking for new ways to bring in customers? Also, WLAT (910 AM) continues to broadcast at night using daytime power and pattern. Even between CHML and WHJJ, the signal still can be heard north of Hartford, after decades of not being heard north of Hartford at night.
