Free Networking from RadioU

I was reading a news article from NewReleaseTuesday.com that announced RadioU was going to offer their programming for syndication FREE. So sure enough, I checked it out by going to RadioU's site. They have a site giving all the details.

I hope that some stations pick up this programming around the nation. I even asked my college station advisor about picking it up (he says we can't fit more syndicated fare on to our station). RadioU really puts out an entertaining product with some great music. Every time I go through Columbus I tune it in. I hope that other stations pick up its programming, especially near me.

I saw this press-release last week, its wonderful that their offering their "network programming" free to stations and no barter (need to run commericals to get the programming -- like ABC, Westwood One and Premere and others do to run their syndicated programming). Even the Christian Networks such as Todays Christian Music from Salem Radio Networks "charge" a "fee" to carry their programming...

Kudos to Michael and the folks at RadioU for attempting to get their "high quality produced programming" out there.. I'd love to see stations pick this up, This sorta programming would make GOOD on those "HD-2" Digital channels that many broadcasters are contiuning to put up.

RadioU keep up the good work, Your one of the great gem's in Columbus Radio. Many folks say Columbus Radio is aweful but we have one very different choice that you do not find in many other markets (I can count on my hands how many Rock formats that follow RadioU's approach)

(and to those that feel columbus radio stinks, NO I dont work for them, I just enjoy their product) It's a good alternative to WNCI, WCKX, WBXZ, and other stations.

>To Mike and the Shumates and their board...THIS IS GREAT! I was the first GM at Radio U and proud to have been a part of this ongoing 'edge' format to teens and college aged persons, locally and nationwide..... The quality and tech of the facilities at Radio U and TVU are second to none and along with the years of improvement at WCVO in the Christian AC relm (where former "U" man Tate Luck puts his ear to the dial), Columbus Christian Radio is light years ahead of other top fifty markets... This is a great opportunity to have some great programming on college and LPFM outlets in the states....

Way to go "U"
