Free Weather Channel?

Are you guys still getting the 'free' weather channel on your deactivated radios, or did they take that away too? How can they have EAS without at least one public service channel, as I doubt the preview channel would bother with EAS?
 
Mel's pis*ed me off for the last time; Channel 247 says, "Sorry, Mel Karmazin, cheap MF, has cancelled the free EMERGENCY Channel with Weather (XM247), so he can have more money for Howeird Stern, Oprah and Jailbird Martha Stewart".

I'm writing the FCC - what more can Mel take away from XM customers? - let me guess - he will still play music on the music channels, but will "blank out" your display and you'll have to pay an additional monthly fee to have the PAD info display show the current song playing? Melvin K: What an arse.
 
i stopped paying my bill and my radio still works and its been about 6months since i paided my bill they even sent a letter offering to get me back for 5 months free they must be real bad off!!
