Leykis said he'll be informing listeners of the new time come April, so plan on him staying live 3-7/4-8 year round. I'd rather condition people with one time to listen, but I guess in Arizona you don't have a choice.

They used to do four hours just for LA when Stern ran until 11, but with the syndication they're starting earlier and running replays. Like anyone's listening for five hours straight anyway.

As much as he tries to pass it off as live, yes.
As to the local PMD show, the FreeFM format isn't designed for local. Pay for Corolla and it's all cheap from there. In LA (and in North County SD) Leykis is basically a local show, and the numbers reflect it. He was also #1 in men 18+ in Seattle 3-7pm against plenty of local news and talk shows as well as Savage. Haven't seen anything in a few months, but he was #2 in men 18-34 and #3 or 4 in men 25-54 on AM in Portland, so why pay someone to do what he'll do for barter and a ratings bonus? I'm all for local, but how about someone who should know better, like say, our heritage AM newstalker?
