French on 1050

Hard to describe. Sounds like French.

The local AM 1050 WLIP Kenosha is off right now and some strange arabian/tribal sounding music with French sounding lyrics is banging in along with the NYC 1050.<P ID="signature">______________

CKSB. It's the Radio-Canada ("French CBC") first-network outlet in Winnipeg.

(you'll find it in most lists as "St. Boniface", which was once a separate city but is now a district of Winnipeg)

I *think* it's parallel to AM 860 in Toronto.
