Just wait un til one pirate encroaches on the turf of another pirate.

it happened when I was at Allston-Brighton Free Radio. A Hatian pirate was messing up our signal (we were a pirate at that point, too). I don't know what Steve Provizer did but they turned down their wattage...
Signal war on 96.5, Pirate's on 96.5 Dorchester and Brocton, Which Make 96.5 a war zone on RT 24 .

There was a much smaller station on 101.3 in Mattapan there for a while before Big City came on. Both were on for a while, but obviously we know who won that war.

There a Pirate station, Off and on 99.7 . Played alot of Gospel music .

Where are you able to pick up this station on 99.7? I'm in boston right now, unable to get it.

There was a 99.7 Gospel pirate in Dorchester, only on the air at certain times. I think that Nassau Broadcasting may have complained to the FCC about it because people were reporting that it was causing interference to WCRB 99.5.

Who would care about interference to WCRB? While the Olympics(tm) are in progress, WCRB is currently trying to set the record for recurrent playing Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata" (not named by the L-man) as a perusal of their playlist at wcrb.com would demonstrate. Wait..wait: Mozart's "Eine Keine Nachtsmusik" is closing in fast"!

Last night driving home on Rt 24 In Avon , the scan stopped at 101.3 Big City 's signal was still that strong. Could still be heard on 24 In Brockton under the IBOC hash of B-101.5 . If B-101.5 didnt have IBOC the signal would have made it south of Brockton. When is the FCC gonna close them down, they must be pushing more than 1kw ERP.

I can still conceive hearing those liners on the "French pirate" OUI! OUI! OUI! OUI!...
