Frequency Change

Here's something you don't see very often - a frequency change. Radio Station KBJT in Fordyce has completed its C.P. to move from 1570 AM to 1590 AM and increased its' power from 810 watts to 4700 watts. I noticed this just the other day and could tell that the power had been increased.

Re: Frequency Change in SEARK

Has radio become that profitable in Fordyce? Wow...

Am I imagining this, or wasn't there a 1590 in Pine Bluff? Sorry, I've been gone a long time. lol

I believe the call letters were KYDE... Three tower array is still standing just up the road from UAPB. Pine Bluff was a crowded radio market back in the day... They must have had six or seven stations on the air in the mid-1970's.....

I think the station went off the air in the late 90s...
