Frequency Juggle near Waukegan

Has anyone else noticed that there's a new frequency relaying WLGS-LP (Lake Villa) on 99,9 in the Gurnee/Waukegan/Libertyville area?

My guess (based on signal strength and direction) is that it's coming from the tower near the Tri State Tollway and Belvedere Ave. This eliminates the 3/4 station battle that usually ensues on 99.9 - and it probably wiped low powered WFEL-LP off the map up in Antioch. That's a shame because I enjoyed their programming of old time radio shows.

Likewise, W292DJ (106.3) is now silent - allowing WSRB "Real Radio 106.3" to trickle to the far north with a weak, but listenable, signal.

That's really odd that the FCC would knowingly allow 99.9 in Waukegan, with Antioch's 99.9 being relatively close like that. Talk about "shoehorning" them stations in, FCC...way to go! IMO 106.3 had worked really well along the lakeshore, from Waukegan down to Lake Forest. (I believe the 106.3 TX was in or near Lake Bluff, IL...)
