Fresh 105.9

I was wondering why this station is not doing so good in ratings. I really like it but wish the J-Lo wasn't played. I don't care to hear her on a station like this. It does not sound hot AC however like the one in Las Vegas but more of a bright AC or upbeat AC than anything. This is really the first time I listened to it for a long while. And I wonder on the 105.9 jingles is that woman's voice Sarah McLachlan? Probably not but sounds a lot like her.

Not sure. Have you seen the W25-54 numbers? 12+ doesn't say much.

I'm reading the ratings on Radio & Records (wish we were allowed to post them). And my mistake - ALL the Fresh FMs are upbeat bright AC. 100000watts inaccurately lists some of these as hot AC. I'm sure the one in Missoula, MT is similar. My aunt would love this kind of station in the car if it were in here in Milwaukee.

It's probably not doing well because there's already a station with that playlist at 93.9. If you played either one to me, I couldn't tell the difference.

As far as I can tell, there's isn't much of anything "Fresh" about it. Most of the songs are at least 5 year old and have already been played over a million times.

Next time I'm at the dentist, I'll listen again.

Let's also not forget that Fresh has only been on the air 5 months. Give it some more time...
and plus it flipped from an fm talk station nobody listened to, so it will take some time

WCKG's last book was their best since losing Howard, but the fact that the 105.9 frequency catered to men from the mid-1980s to November 2007 could very well be a problem.
