FRESH 96.5

From AllAccess.com,

Entercom's KOIT(SAN FRANCISCO) today has reimaged as FRESH 96-5. KOIT's Program Director says, "Only difference you'll notice is simply the name change." Current music rotation and personnell is expected to remain intact.

Before switching to 96.5 to hear 'The New FRESH 96-5', please note today's date.

"Fresh" is already being used on other stations in this market and has been overused. How can you be "Fresh" when you play 80% recurrents and older? Entercom needs to higher some local folks in the know!

I think KIFR was pulling your leg, djtalker. So far, Entercom has operated KOIT on the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" philosophy. They did buy the "Fresh" slogan and imaging, but only because they didn't want anybody else to use it - not because they planned on using it, except maybe occasinally in passing, like when that irritating cutesy VO lady says..."more fresh light rock," or whatever.

Thanks, Lkeller. I read All Access this morning and didn't see that story and wnet back to re-read the day's news and couldn't find it again. Then I saw the reference to today's date
Hey KIFR, your shoe's untied. :D
