FRESH FRESHENS UP

I noticed that low rated KFRH no longer calls themselves "Today's Soft Music"...they now say "Today's Fresh Music". This makes sense since they are not soft. Using "soft" in the first place might have caused confusuion or an identity crisis. I think this especially hurt them in the attempt to steal some of KMXBs 18-34 women.

I also noticed FRESH no longer attacks SUNNY or MIX by name. Although I heard a promo making fun of a station playing Air Supply, which was an obvious shot against SUNNY.

just for the record, by the time fresh in vegas launched, the original fresh in new york already came to the "todays fresh music" conclusion. in beasley's defense though, they do receive information via pony express.

Yeah when they advertised "soft music" they didn't really come through on their promise. The positioner didn't match the vibe of the station or the music flow.

Mix has a more fun vibe on the air than Fresh. It has more of the Vegas pulse inbetween the songs.
