Fresh 105.9 PD Jim Ryan has hired Tulsa radio veteran Scotty Wylde for afternoon drive. However, he will go by his given name, Scotty Smith, while on the air on Fresh:

"When I heard Scotty on the air, he defined our vision of Fresh," Ryan said of Smith, who most recently was the morning drive host on Tulsa's "106.9 K-Hits," a Top 40 station.

With the inception of Scotty, Jen Toohey moves to evenings.
 
Really nice guy. I hope the job works out for him. I hope the station lets him
show his talent on the air and talk for more than 30 seconds an hour.

I think this was a good choice for them.
