Hello, Does anyone know if there are any younger (18-25) yr. olds who are enthusiastic about working in terrestrial radio? It seems like Strawberry was one of the last local "kids" to "get it" and love it.

Hoodrat Miguel is a great example right before he left to KPWR, Sandra Pena before she left to KKFR, Short -E at KBMB, Drew Heffner at KMEL, Eric "The Funky 1" at KDON, since we're on the KDON bandwagon Nancy Nevarez, Ness Nitty at KYLD and the list goes on....

Geez - Seems like a lot of Rhythmic Jocks (x'cept for "joe rock") and not a lot of calling out for promo kids/prod kids/program asst etc.
Obvioulsy, hiphop/kiss formats have always drawn young talent to their dorosteps but wouldn't there be an advantage for us older farts in other formats to be trading around young talent in other departments. I'm so tired of hearing everyone complain about corporate stations neglecting to nuture talent b'ceause in some way we are the corporations! So who is up for taking a little responsibility around here? I guess if anyone is interested in talking more about this somewhere else I'd be happy to exchange personal e-mail with you (and no this is NOT a pedophilia thing!!!)
