Is there a plan for iHeart to fix their HD signals on KFSO, KSOF and KBOS? They’ve been down about a year now and the app is still broadcasting the HD2 content but not on the originating station.

Is there a plan for iHeart to fix their HD signals on KFSO, KSOF and KBOS? They’ve been down about a year now and the app is still broadcasting the HD2 content but not on the originating station.

iHeart has been notorious about maintaining their HD2 signals, but your signals should come back. Them taking a full year without repairs is concerning, but then again, my local iHeart HD2 was down for around 2 months. Also, if any of these stations were broadcasting "the Breeze", that has now stopped.

On their HD2 signals, KFSO was doing a Spanish format, KSOF had “Lost 80’s Hits” and KBOS I think was running St Patrick’s Day radio all year round (odd, I know)

They were taken off due to the Summer 2020 or 2021 fires up in the mountains where their transmitters were. Don’t remember exactly where they’re at but it killed all three stations. They’re back at full power minus the HD enhancement
