Friday Night Lights?????

A friend of mine told me that he read that NBC was going to cancel Friday Night Lights. Does anyone on this board know if this rumor is true? I hope it's not. I think FNL is one of the best shows on TV. Any info on this topic will be appreciated. Thanks
