Friend/No Friend TV Show: Does anyone remember this show?

About 10 years ago there was a syndicated show that put two people, formerly friends, one on the studio set and the other off set. The offending friend would be on stage with the moderator/host saying how they had dissed the other person, etc....kind of a kinder-and-gentler Jerry Springer Show. They would then get the "other side" of the transgression which wrecked friendship with an interview of the other person backstage. Then would come the moment of truth when the one friend on stage would be brought to a regular door by the host and he/she would open it to reveal if the ex-friend would be there to resume the friendship.

Sometimes there would be someone behind the door, other times there would be nobody.

What was the name of the show and who was the host? Was it Star Jones in her early days???

Does anyone remember this show besides myself?

I remember Forgive and Forget. Overall it wasn't a bad show actually one could learn a few lessons there. Just because you decide to take a friend on a vacation and you pay for everything, can't always assume your friend wants to go with you.

However a LOT of people really didn't like F & F at all because it was "too real". You can see people breaking up and almost ( and sometimes it did happen ) go to crying level because their good friend wasn't behind that door and/or they slammed the person in the video that is shown before they head to the door. Example..the young girl who had a crush on a guy for YEARS only to have him call her on the video "..a fat ugly cow" and he MEANT IT !!!! A question of taste.

With Jerry Springer and to a degree even Cheaters, even back then most people knew that what they were watching was pretty much fake but with Forgive & Forget, it was real. Actually I am kind of surprised this show hasn't been brought back with all the other reality shows out now.

Speaking of Mother Love, around the same time she was doing this show I remember hearing a news item that there were plans on her teaming up with the ex-gay group Exodist (? ) on doing a show about former gays who have went straight. I havent heard about THAT show ever since.
