FROGGY LEAVES Y-100 !!!

Y-100's 'Froggy' will be leaving the station and rejoining his former 'MJ Morning Show' friends over at 93.3-FLZ in Tampa. (That's where he worked before he joined Y-100's 'Kenny & Footy' show in 2002.)

Froggy mentioned on the show this morning (or was it yesterday morning) that he is traveling to New York City this weekend. I think he also added that he will be on 'Elvis Duran & The Morning Zoo' for at least a part of next week (probably for a final farewell).

You are usually right on with your info. However you are WAY off base here. A guy named FROGGY 2 is rejoining the MJ show. He replaced Froggy years ago and then left. Froggy is traveling to NY to be in studio with the NY show apparently. He isn't leaving the show or Y100.

Upon further research (including your post) I realized my grave mistake. I officially retract my original statement. I just wished I could have gotten on here sooner to do so, but my day job got in the way of that !

'Froggy' was replaced by 'Froggy' several years ago on the 'MJ Morning Show' on Tampa's 93.3-FLZ (also syndicated in Jacksonville and St. Louis). The first 'Froggy' arrived at Y-100 in 2002 to run the 'Kenny & Footy' show while the second 'Froggy' continued on with the 'MJ Morning Show' until 2004. The second 'Froggy' is returning to 'MJ' while our Froggy is going nowhere (aside from New York City this Monday for a few days).

Now that I've clarified that I would just like to add that I am totally relieved. Our 'Froggy' has been heavily incorporated into 'Elvis Duran & The Morning Zoo' - particularly more so over the past several weeks since the summer break. He is in virtually every discussion and bit on the show now, and his star is shining brightly !

I laughed hysterically on numerous occasions all week long during the show !
