The Fan/Columbus Inks Powers As PD
Trading one FAN for another, former Sports WCNN-A (680 THE FAN)/ATLANTA PD JIMMY POWERS will join DISPATCH's Sports WBNS-A (SPORTS RADIO 1460 THE FAN)/COLUMBUS, OH as PD. POWERS is set to start in NOVEMBER.

Wow! Both WTVN's and WBNS's new program directors are from Atlanta. Could the competition between the 2 big AM's start back up again? I remember both WTVN and WBNS used to poke fun at each other in the promo's, expecially when Darryl Parks used to be the PD at 'TVN. I can't wait to see!

Funny you should mention that, I heard a promo on the PM show on 1460, making fun of "the best Buckeye coverage" TVN line...
