From Connecticut to Florida

My name is Dennis, I have always been fascinated with radio broadcasting. As a very young boy 5 or 6 years old, I would stare into the small, local sunrise to sunset radio station window and dream I was that man in the studio. I spent some time as a young teenager hanging out at a couple of stations, learned how to operate the board and how to cart up music and commercials. I had a couple of stints at a couple different radio stations doing weekends, or overnights. I just couldn't make a living on just that.

Greetings Dennis, welcome to our Radio discussions! We are happy to have you here.
Like you, I have been fascinated by radio. I always found stations in my youth, before a the overcrowding happened. I as a child dreamed about being a radio Deejay and I worked some in engineering. Trust me, we both worked for peanuts but, it's a time that'll never be forgotten. I developed a brain condition, have a bad memory, timing is off, amongst other things. I don't know if you clearly modulate, but you could always find a niche doing voice overs?

Nice to meet you,
Eric
