That thread has gotten entirely too long to track, so I'm responding here:

I think the piece that's missing is that yes, people can find out when their "favorite" music is coming out, but KEXP is a source for FINDING new favorites. Stuff you've never heard that becomes a favorite. They introduce people to new stuff daily. So yes, I can find out when the new record is out from an artist I already love, but being turned on to new favorites is a wonderful thing!
