WWOR has droped it's UPN logo but is still carrying UPN.Could this be the begining of a trend?

WSBK TV-38 or TV-38
TV-28 dropping the U in thier logo etc....

No kidding. It has been like that for over 2 weeks now and there are already numerous posts about this.

I think Channel 9 is angry they are losing UPN, so they are defaming the network earlier in their "Going Out of Business" period.

In my opinion, the network was the trashier of the two (WB & UPN), and I'm glad WWOR can free itself. The station can hold it's own, without a doubt! You know what I say to UPN ... "don't let the door hit you in ..." :)

All Fox-owned UPNs have done this, removed the UPN logo from their imaging.

"MY New York"

Maybe WWOR Will become "My New York" and WSBK will become "My Boston" (affiliates of Fox' new broadcast network just announced, the new 6th broadcast net!)

KTXH channel 20 here in Houston, TX dropped it's affiliation with UPN within days after the merger of TW and CBS was announced. It's now "Houston's 20".
