From Radio Adds -- Ordering Flowers for $19.99 ~ The SURPRISE !

Just though you should know beforehand:

With Mother's Day coming up, many, if not most radio shows have some special going on where you click the Microphone on the flower shop page and enter the "Code" word, so you too can get a $40.00 flower arrangement, with a FREE vase for only $19.99 ! !

But, after you enter all of your shipping and billing info, and your sentiments for the "card"....

The advertising "Special" that lured you in for $19.99....

is now $37.39.

The breakdown:

"Standard" Delivery ... is ONLY $9.99

The "Free" Vase "Shipping" Charge is $1.63

And, the Fuel Surcharge is $2.93

And, Tax, of $2.85

(And the closer we get to Mother's Day, the added charges for Sat & Sun delivery are an extra $10 - $20 ...)

"Just click on the microphone on the upper-right hand corner of the website, and type in SUCKER..."

Quit compaining at least they are buying radio.

Yeah, but what if it's a partial barter arrangement? You then get paid only if someone puts in your personality's name.

Here's some irony. Reading these posts I scroll to the end of the page and there's a ProFlowers ad appearing at the bottom of the page. Do I enter radio-info when I click the microphone?

For the most part, my experience has been that if it's advertised on radio I either don't need it, don't want it or am wary enough not to buy it. ;D

And dont forget they hit you for $20 guaranteed arrival by mothers day shipping on top of the 9.99 standard shippimg and fuel charge.

I believe the bottom banner is keyword-triggered. I think it's operated by Google Ads, but I'm not sure. You may wish to drop a line (post) on the "Ask Radio-Info" forum and they may or may not answer.

Not only am I seeing ProFlowers ads while viewing this thread, but now rival Teleflora is checking in with their wares...

In the lower right corner of many the ad banners, there is a little (i) you can click on for (i)nformation that shows you it is Google Ads. Yes, they are triggered by keywords in the messages.

Geez, if all that's too expensive stop by any side of the road stand on Sunday and get a dozen roses for 10 bucks.

So I guess I don't want to see what kind of ads pop up if I announce I'm getting my mother some midget goat ...well nevermind. :D

You can bet Monica Crowley will get involved! She was hawking chewable vitamins marketed by one of the principals of the Sea Siler scam.
