Country and Classic Rock on one format. I have always wanted to hear this and when I bring it up. People laugh and tell me I'm crazy.
Clear Channel is willing to give it a shot. What do think.Any potential here at all.WSKO-FM is only on the air to to torcher us on this board.
 
OK, Clear Channel is willing to give it a shot..... where are they putting it? B101? HJY? What does SKO have anything to do with CC?

You wouldn't be crazy if this were a different market, but this ain't Texas buckaroo.

Now Kenny, both you and I know that the classic rock/country format would only work at the Washington County Fair. If it were to happen, it would be much safer for Citadel to flip 99.7 to classic rock, or maybe even AAA.

Sorry if I offended anyone who goes to the Washington County Fair every August.

I just threw in 99.7 because as we all know its a waste of money to keep that at a simulcast.
As for The Washington County fair.Chris Dipaola is usually there with WBLQ.Close but no cigar.

Actually, I wonder how a 99.7 doing an 80's and 90's format would work to go against the Bee's 70's and 80's.
Opps, I may be doing someones job here and have an idea?
